Account Executive

This position requires making numerous cold calls and visits to accounts on a daily basis, and the ability to close a sale. The candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive image for FOX 4 KTBY-TV and maintaining high ethical standards.

The individual will execute sales calls from a range of 10-15 accounts per day.  He/she will provide potential clients with standard and concise information about FOX 4 KTBY-TV and product information along with what value we will bring to the prospective account.  Must be able to develops and maintain strong relationships.

Work with sales management to execute and monitor sales activities, prepares sales presentations utilizing AdConnections, PowerPoint and other software programs as needed.

Prepare and document daily call activity reports with pertinent information concerning the account, the contract, placement, follow up, etc.  Submit weekly reports outlining the pertinent information from the daily activity reports.  Timely reporting and ability to meet deadlines is necessary.

Must furnish own vehicle and current driver’s license with an excellent driving record.  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, as well as excellent organizational and administrative skills required.  Computer and e-mail proficiency (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
